Lack of Motivation? πŸŠ

Yeah, me too…

I found myself without motivation a lot in the past. But, not lately!

I worked out 16 days out of the past 19! I now run a mile (for about 12-14 minutes), do 110 situps, and 4 sets of 10 pushups!

It may not seem like much to you, but I am very proud of myself. I was living a very sedentary style and ate whatever I wanted. Now I watch what I eat and drink, and am active!

I won’t stop any time soon! I hope you too, will join me in my quest! Living a healthier lifestyle.

Back to the lack of motivation point…

Do you find yourself starting a healthy workout regimen and then stopping after a couple days? I have some tips to help you out!

  1. Utilize a whiteboard – Write down your workout regimen or goal. And tally up how many days you have completed! This has motivated me. I strive to achieve my exercise routine daily to rack up my tallies! My goal is to cover my whole whiteboard!
  2. Change sleeping schedule – Do you sleep late and wake up around noon? That used to be my problem. I slept whenever I was done watching videos or playing video games. Change your sleeping schedule by sleeping earlier! Heck, even try to become a morning person! (I am still working on that, I wake up around 9:30 a.m.)
  3. Drink plenty of water – Cut the soda and sugary drinks. I think it helped me out!
  4. Get a workout buddy! – Maybe you need a workout buddy? It can be a family member, friend, or even an animal! (I prefer dogs, I love dogs)

Try these tips! And let me know if they helped! If you have any helpful suggestions or motivation to share with others, don’t hesitate to comment! πŸ’š

Start making time for yourself βŒ›οΈ

There’s attempting to care and love yourself… And then there is actually caring and loving yourself.

Are you making time out of the day to think about life, care for your skin, pamper your hair, read a book, learn something new, or even just listen to music? If your answer is no then this needs to change IMMEDIATELY!

For peat’s sake, you are unique remember? So start treating yourself as so! This will boost your self-esteem. Caring for yourself has really helped me genuinely become happy with myself.

Don’t know where to start? Well, let’s reflect back on some things I’ve tried! Try this beauty lotion! This method not only transforms your skin into soft velvet but will also change the way you view your body! Thus, boosting self-esteem!

How about using face masks? Try these! The First step, Second, Third and Alternative!

Make sure you treat yourself! Take some time out of the day to just sit and get lost in music or a book. The possibilities are endless! It’s just up to you to decide. I am here cheering you on!

Change comes from within. To first start boosting your self-esteem, you must accept yourself as being a unique individual and WANT to change for the best πŸ’•

I believe in you. And so should you 😚

Low self-esteem is a HUGE problem

Self-esteem is the confidence in one’s own worth or abilities. If you have low self-esteem… We have to change it!

I admit it, I do have low self-esteem. I have a lot of factors that affect my self-esteem. But, to become more positive and a better person, I cannot allow myself to blame these factors. Maybe if I can do it, it will help drive you as well (that’s what I’m hoping for 😚)

One thing we must get straight is understanding we are all unique. No one person is the same as another. The experiences we’ve been through and the mistakes we’ve made have molded us into becoming something for the better.

So please, understand you are unique. When you look in the mirror, be proud of who you have become. If you aren’t happy with yourself, you can always change for the best!

There are many ways to boost one’s own self-esteem, the one I’ve found most helpful, is making sure you make that number one fan of yours proud… That should be you!

Be your own number one fan! Be proud of whatever you get accomplished! I genuinely believe you have to be happy with yourself and care for yourself first, to be able to make someone else happier.

I will provide helpful tips later, but I believe this is enough to get you started. I believe in youΒ πŸ’•

Ways to deal with anxiety

Life is weird and sometimes cruel. It’s filled with obstacles and objects being thrown at you left and right forcing you to make decisions. Whether it’s working a full-time job, being a student, or dealing with family/friend issues, it’s all bound to making you feel some level of anxiety.

I am going to share with you some techniques and activities I’ve found to be extremely helpful in combating anxiety.

  1. Just Breathe. Take a deep breath and then let it all out. While breathing, think about this. Know you are a unique individual. Nobody has gone through what you have and accomplished what you’ve done. Be proud of who you are.
  2. Find your happy place. And this takes practice, I can’t tell you what yours is. You must find it yourself. My happy places are pondering on what went on in, “Joyland,” by Stephen King, and playing videogames. Yours may or may not be similiar to mine, but I believe you can find your place. For instance, it may be sitting outside or listening to music.
  3. Cutting caffeine. Cutting and reducing caffeine intake may help prevent anxiety symptoms.

Hopefully this will be able to help you! I love to make people feel better. These are essential tools for anyone to use!

I hope you have a wonderful day. πŸ’›

How to start your day RIGHT! πŸ€©

Everyday… Is a brand new clean slate! The beginning of a great day (every day) is having the right mindset when you wake up! 😼

If you completed the Dream Board Challenge, then you are well on your way of changing your mindset! If you haven’t, it’s never to late to better yourself today!

For an early birthday present, my mother bought me this new board which is fantastic! 😍

The cork board is empty for a reason…

I am re-evaluating my goals in life and will notify you when a dream of mine pops onto the board!

The best part about utilizing the dream board is to write a message for yourself the next morning! πŸ’Œ

This will help you love yourself! It indeed shows you do care. Change your mindset and your outlook on life will be more favorable!

I hope you have an amazing day. πŸ˜šπŸ’›
