Some days can be rough…

Everyone has those off days. And I definitely had mine today.

Regardless of what I was doing, I felt sad. Whether it was just lying in bed or playing video games, I could feel myself dosing off into La La land and thinking of all my dreams and goals I want to accomplish.

Maybe it’s something you can relate to. I don’t know, but I do realize I have to take things step by step. Not everything is going to happen at once or come on a silver platter. Everything that you want should be earned through some means.

It’s these rainy days that force me back to reality, which is not a bad thing.

Ways to deal with anxiety

Life is weird and sometimes cruel. It’s filled with obstacles and objects being thrown at you left and right forcing you to make decisions. Whether it’s working a full-time job, being a student, or dealing with family/friend issues, it’s all bound to making you feel some level of anxiety.

I am going to share with you some techniques and activities I’ve found to be extremely helpful in combating anxiety.

  1. Just Breathe. Take a deep breath and then let it all out. While breathing, think about this. Know you are a unique individual. Nobody has gone through what you have and accomplished what you’ve done. Be proud of who you are.
  2. Find your happy place. And this takes practice, I can’t tell you what yours is. You must find it yourself. My happy places are pondering on what went on in, “Joyland,” by Stephen King, and playing videogames. Yours may or may not be similiar to mine, but I believe you can find your place. For instance, it may be sitting outside or listening to music.
  3. Cutting caffeine. Cutting and reducing caffeine intake may help prevent anxiety symptoms.

Quick Note regarding – Sagasu Inai

Just an FYI for everyone wondering what happened with the progression of this story.

To keep it simple and sweet, I only wrote this because I felt very down. It was a way to channel my sadness into energy exerted for a better cause.
