Ways to deal with anxiety

Life is weird and sometimes cruel. It’s filled with obstacles and objects being thrown at you left and right forcing you to make decisions. Whether it’s working a full-time job, being a student, or dealing with family/friend issues, it’s all bound to making you feel some level of anxiety.

I am going to share with you some techniques and activities I’ve found to be extremely helpful in combating anxiety.

  1. Just Breathe. Take a deep breath and then let it all out. While breathing, think about this. Know you are a unique individual. Nobody has gone through what you have and accomplished what you’ve done. Be proud of who you are.
  2. Find your happy place. And this takes practice, I can’t tell you what yours is. You must find it yourself. My happy places are pondering on what went on in, “Joyland,” by Stephen King, and playing videogames. Yours may or may not be similiar to mine, but I believe you can find your place. For instance, it may be sitting outside or listening to music.
  3. Cutting caffeine. Cutting and reducing caffeine intake may help prevent anxiety symptoms.

Hopefully this will be able to help you! I love to make people feel better. These are essential tools for anyone to use!

I said I would be back, but boy was I wrong! I left forever!

I came. I saw. I fell. Rolled into a hole. Got lost. Cried. Wept. And crawled my way back to the surface.

Here I am! On Spring break now! College sure is stressful and a lot of work. But with the power of motivation and positive thinking, I will be able to post daily!
